Our Meetings

You may be wondering what the services and meetings at Cromwell Hall Christian Fellowship are like. Below is a short description of each them.

The Breaking of Bread

Sunday: 10:30 - 11:15

We gather as a group of believers on the first day of the week, to worship and remember the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us on the cross. It is a solemn communion and worship service, lasting about 45 minutes, for people whose lives are committed to Jesus Christ, as He requested, “This do in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19). This meeting is led by God’s Holy Spirit, meaning there is no or pre-set order of service or anyone specifically appointed to conduct it beforehand.

Sunday School

Sunday: 11:30 - 12:15 (term time only)

Sunday School is a time where children are able learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ. Singing, games, quizzes, drama and crafts are all used to teach the Bible engagingly in a fun and safe environment. Our teachers and helpers have all been DBS checked and are governed by a comprehensive Child Protection Policy.

Prayer Meeting

Monday: 19:45 - 20:15

We, as Christians, believe God still hears and answers prayer today. On many occasions we have experienced God’s many different answers to prayer. During this half hour we thank God for what He has done for us as well as asking Him for various needs that we are aware of.

Bible Study

Monday: 20:15 - 21:00

Following the prayer meeting, we study God’s Word, the Bible, discussing and exploring the truth found in it to gain a deeper understanding of our Christian faith, for about 45 minutes.
